A COUPLE of children's charities will benefit from a ladies' night at Uplowman Village Hall, near Tiverton, on Friday 30th November from 7.30 to 11pm.

The Christmas fayre, fashion show and musical entertainment has been organised for a third year by Siân Brooks and Karen Adcock.

And this year for the first time six of the models are men.

As well as seasonal music from Sounds Alive, Tiverton classical singer Davida will take the mike.

Siân said: "There will also be an auction where people will be able to bid for unusual Christmas presents.

"At this time of year everyone is thinking about Christmas - we have over 20 stalls selling everything from clothing, jewellery, wood turned objects and many more things suitable for stocking fillers."

Money raised on the night will go to REACH, a charity for children with upper limb deficiencies, and Chernobyl Children's Lifeline, which supports victims of the nuclear accident in the Ukraine.
